We are mission minded. We support both global and local
ministries to preach the gospel and help the poor.
Global Ministry
Through donations to our denomination’s wider mission, we help to
strength churches and fight poverties from U.S. to all over the
world. When there is a major disaster in any part of the world, our
financial support or missionaries will no doubt be there to help.
We have a missionary in Hong Kong and we support Bible printing
and charity in China.
Local Ministry
YEAH! - (Youth Engagement Advocacy Housing)
This organization provides food, shelter, counseling and educational
services to the homeless youths in Berkeley. For the last 7 years,
we are committed to cooking and serving meals once a month from
November through May.
Cantare Chidren's Choir
An attempt to enrich inner city youths of Oakland through a choral
program. In addition to attending the children's concerts and
putting on the annual Halloween party, we also raise funds for the
program.
Their Angels
We show support and encouragement to our deployed troops by
assembling and sending care packages and writing letters. Their
Angels meet the 1st Saturday of every month, even holidays, at a
church in Richmond.
CROP Walk – (Community Responding to Overcome Poverty)
We walk to raise funds to benefit Church World Service, YEAH!
and the Dorothy Day House in Berkeley in their continuing fight
against hunger and poverty.
Alameda County Community Food Bank
During the season of Lent and Christmas, we collect canned and
other non-perishable food to help feed the hungry. We also raise
funds during to help the food bank restock their shelves.
